Wide Open Mike with Norm Davis

W&B is proud to sponsor Rochester’s longest running open mike program, “Wide Open Mike,” hosted by Norm Davis, local poet and editor of HazMat Review.

The Earl Cram Review Benefit Concert

  • Friday August 8, 8 pm

  • All donations greatly appreciated.

The Earl Cram Review has generously offered to arrange and host this benefit concert to aid W&B, Rochester’s one and only non-profit literary center. You can help, too. Join us for an evening of music, poetry, and surrealistic games. All donations greatly appreciated. Money raised will help W&B continue to offer great literary and creative programming to children and adults in our community.

Senior Reading Group

Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgendered Open Mike

The Wilde/Woolf Society presents an informal reading open to everyone. Material will focus on (but is not limited to) LGBT lifestyles and issues. Hosted by Dennis Rosenbaum and published author and W&B instructor Patricia Roth Schwartz.

Finger Lakes Writing Workshops in Poetry & Prose

The Finger Lakes Workshop is one of our most popular and anticipated classes of the year. The week-long format helps students concentrate on their work for five intensive days of study. Bukowski Open Mike Night

Celebrate the birthday of Charles Bukowski (1920–1994) by reading one of your favorite Bukowski poems and listening to others share theirs. Hosted (with a brief introduction) by East Irondequoit poet laureate Robert Drojarski.

The Year of Living Dangerously
