Photos from Our Events"If All of Rochester Read the Same Book..." 2010 GalleryAnn Patchett’s Rochester VisitOver the course of a four-day period, from Wednesday, March 24 through Saturday, March 27, “If All of Rochester Read the Same Book…” author, Ann Patchett read from Bel Canto and spoke to thousands of area readers and writers as part of this year’s community-wide reading program. Celebrating the Tenth Year of “If All of Rochester Read the Same Book…” in the best possible way, the attendance at this year’s programs was the highest ever recorded. In addition to the thousands that saw and interacted with Ann Patchett while she was here, it is estimated that over 15,000 others in the community read the book, discussed it in their book clubs, their libraries, their classrooms and in bookstores, houses of worship, and in workplaces. “If All of Rochester Read the Same Book…” is now one of the oldest, largest and most successful community-wide programs of its kind throughout the country. Here are some pictures from truly wonderful few days of the celebration of reading. Click the image to view larger.
