Mask of the Red Death Masquerade Ball
Join us for a masquerade ball inspired by Poe’s story “Masque of the Red Death.” The evening’s festivities will include music, literary and theatrical performances (of Poe’s “The Black Cat,” “The Masque of the Red Death” and more), food and drink, film screenings and a culminating event at midnight. Masks required (available at the door or come to our mask-making workshop on Sat., Oct. 24), costumes optional. Other entertainments include a costume contest, a Poe look-a-like contest, palm readings and tarot card readings (separate fee). Those who survive until the unveiling at midnight will receive a “parting gift.” For tickets call (585) 473-2590, x107.
