FETAL POSITION

Hugging my knees
Close to my chest
Rocking back and forth
And back
The small room
Dimmed to a dark yellow
My tears roll down
My cheek and
Fall into an eternity
Of space
Darkness engulfs me
The room gets darker
I lean my chin
Onto my knees
The room spins
My eyes flutter
Then close
I continue rocking
Unconsciously
Back and forth
And back
