WHERE EVERYTHING WENT

running
in my camisole
through the rain
no one’s coming around again
they all left
this quiet ghetto town.
and trying not to find someone,
but wanting to go back
to where i first found
the ones.
and the days when it was hot and sunny
that made way for the cold and cloudy
I’m being enclosed
and let go
and when looking at the sky
reminds me
and i can see the sun
when it burned
when it existed
but now i cannot see
for the fog has settled slightly
and all i can find are matches
strewn in the dirt
and I–?
i am left alone.
trying to find where the hell everything went.
