BEFORE I WAKE Because the light hit my eyes as the baby birds outside chirp loudly screaming for food to eat, and because my little sisters play running around the house jumping all over the furniture as my mother sleeps, and because my little critters take a bath and wet the floor in the bathroom their energy matches the energizer bunny while the cats meow loudly, and because the season is changing leaves are falling down chldren are playing outside, and because someone knows on the door and the children stop their play to run to the door as their father walks in, and because he walks into a messy house he stomps around the house coming in my room calling my name, and becuase he says my name I say I'm going back to sleep I turn to the wall as I close my eyes to sleep, and because I didn't get up, my step-dad tells my sisters to come in my room and hug me so I can wake up and start my day. and because they come and hug me I have a smile on my face as I hug them kiss them on the forehead they say "We love you brother" my beats rapid I care for them so much, and because they say that to me I wake up to a new morning where the two beautiful sisters wake their brother to a warm awakening.
