Publications Where’s Walden IIIWorks by Emma LyngeDownpourSplash! God’s GuitarBy the pond The Water’s SongAs I sit upon this wooden bridge, I see clear, bright water running over my icy toes. The smell of after-rain is lingering in the air from last night’s thunder shower. My toes are slipping over the cold rocks worn smooth from erosion. But of all the sights, smells and senses, it is what I hear that moves me. It is the quick, yet everlasting trickle of the water’s song that soothes me. It is the bubble bubble blip of the water’s voice that lulls me. It is the water’s singing that carries me away. |
