Water falls
it is so clear
it is moving like
a sneaking deer.
It tastes as if silk was liquid.

I listen to the bullfrogs,
trying to find out what they’re saying.
I hear their loud ribbit and close my eyes,
and listen some more.

As I sit here in this chair I’m wondering why I’m sitting there?
I could be out wondering around at the trees, sky, earth, above,
why the creek is clear and the bugs are ugly
or why Grampa has no hair?
I’m thinking
I guess I’ll go outside and have some fun.
