Nature Writing Workshop at Gell

• Saturday, September 14, 10 am–2 pm
• At the Gell Center of the Finger Lakes
• Cost: $50 for members, $75 for the general public

John Hanson Mitchell is the editor of the Massachusetts Audubon Society magazine, Sanctuary, and has years of experience writing about nature.

His workshop will begin with a walk and a discussion about the art of observation. Other topics will include the forms and function of nature writing, as well as a look at style and what unique perspectives you can bring to your prose.

Pack a lunch for a noon break and enjoy the beauty of the Bristol Hills.
