Take an interpretive journey into tree lore with inspirational readings on a classic “hill hike” to the top of Ontario County Park (the highest point in Ontario County with lovely views). You will be guided by an experienced naturalist on a slow and steady hike to the top. We will explore the myths, metaphors and the natural history of trees through short readings and lectures. Hikers do not have to be writers, but there will be time available to write about, or simply contemplate, our natural world. Pack a water bottle and wear sturdy walking/hiking shoes.
