JournalismJournalism: The Gateway to Non-Fiction Writing
This class will be an introduction to basic journalism dealing mainly with newspaper writing, but the material covered—the five Ws, interviewing techniques, writing leads, and other skills—are applicable to other formats. In fact, all non-fiction writing flows from a working knowledge of basic journalism principles. Chuck Lyons is a retired newspaper editor and a freelance non-fiction writer with numerous publications.
