The Art of Persuasion

JA9-T01
4 Thursdays 7-9
July 9 through 30
$87 W&B members / $93 general public
Instructor: Melissa Slocum

Do you ever wonder how others gain the confidence of people?  Or how certain people can persuade you to his or her side every time? Perhaps you want to convince your boss to give you a promotion or raise, or a company to hire you. Maybe you want to communicate with your teenager, or win an argument with friends. Or maybe you just want to better your writing skills. This class will help you learn that art of persuasion. Through written and oral communication, we will explore this long time rhetoric. You will gain strength and confidence in what you write and say and how you say it. And you will have others amazed at your ability to communicate your side (and win)
