Have you noticed how difficult it can be to find inspiration to write when you’re stressed and tired? In this workshop, you’ll learn body-based techniques, from the fields of Western Energy Psychology and Eastern Yogic breathing, which immediately release stress, anger and worry. You’ll also learn a technique that helps when things don’t seem to be working well, and another that gives you an immediate and sustained burst of energy. Finally, you will learn a powerful ancient meditation technique, so simple to learn and use, that even beginning meditators typically experience immediate benefits. Wine and Words:  Reading Between the Wines

J11-G03
1 Saturday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
September 24
$39 W&B members/$43 general public
Instructor: Holly Howell

“Wine is like a shy dog.  Lunge for it and it backs away.  Just sit still and it draws nearer.  Wine is less about what you can grasp than about how you can receive it.  You grasp it more firmly if you grab it less tightly.”  Acclaimed wine importer, Terry Theise, has a unique way with words when it comes to understanding wine.  His newest book, Reading Between the Wines is a must-read for wine novices and afficionados alike.  It gives the stuff in your glass a whole new meaning, and can inspire an entirely new appreciation of the wine experience. (Recommended reading Reading Between the Wines, Terry Theise, University of California Press) Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
