The Tao of Writing

F12-T02
1 Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Nov. 12
$39 W&B members / $43 general public
Instructor: Nina Alvarez

Find your authentic writing voice using the wisdom of the classic Chinese text Tao Te Ching. We will learn some relaxation and centering techniques to lead us to the ‘middle way’ - the path of least resistance. Then we will do writing exercises from the Tao of Writing and Writing Down the Bones. The goal of the class is to clear away the ‘noise’ of our chattering minds and hear the deeper language of our real voice. The instructor been a practicing Buddhist for 15 years and have studied the Tao for seven years. She has taught many people to meditate and feel comfortable guiding people in safe relaxation practices.
