Apply To Become a SummerWrite Apprentice!Deadline: May 16, 2011 The SummerWrite Apprenticeship gives youth the opportunity to assist professional teachers & writers in week-long creative camps for a total of 4 or 5 weeks. The apprentices help teach, inspire, and supervise students ages 6 & up both on a one-on-one basis and in small groups. The program allows the apprentices to discover if they want to pursue a career in teaching or other youth-oriented professions while providing meaningful summer employment and a weekly stipend.
