Yoga and Meditation for Writers

J11-O02
1 Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Aug. 13, 10 am - 1 p.m.
$39 W&B members / $43 general public
Instructor: Caedra Scott-Flaherty

Do your wrists and back ache from sitting in front of a computer? Does your mind feel jumbled with plotlines, characters, and deadlines? Being a writer is wonderful, but it is hard work, too. It can take a toll on the body and spirit. Set aside a day to stretch your muscles and your mind. We will practice yoga and meditation and, of course, write. Relax and let the ideas flow. Your mind and body are not as separate as you think. This workshop is appropriate for beginners as well as practicing writer-yogis.

It doesn’t take years of experience and tasting to become a wine aficionado. All it takes it a desire to learn! Consider this a great starter “crash course” that will prepare you for the world of fine wining. We’ll cover the basics of wine, taste the “BIG 6” grapes of the world, and get you up to speed on food and wine pairing. Yes, all that in just two hours! You’ll leave wanting to go home and stock your cellar…
